Zuidlaardermarktloop

About the race

The Zuidlaardermarktloop is traditionally run on the Saturday before the famous Zuidlaardermarkt; in 2026 it's the 50th edition. Running group De Drentsche Aa sets out a fully paved course through the centre of Zuidlaren. The 10 km consists of two 5 km laps, the 2.2 km kids' run of two smaller laps, and the very youngest run a free 500 metre kabouterloop. The 10 km counts as a competitive race towards the Loopcircuit Kop van Drenthe, the 5 km can also be run as a performance race. The number of places on the 5 and 10 km is limited to 1200; bib numbers are collected in the centre.
