Woellust Run

About the race

The Woellust Run is run through the district of the same name in Wildervank, starting at the junction of the Duintjerlaan and the Sterrenboschlaan. The course is a street circuit with twenty-eight curves — and that is where its character lies: constant changes of direction, few long straights, and spectators standing close to the route everywhere. There are four distances: kids runs over 500 and 1000 metres and 5 and 10 kilometres for adults. The race is an initiative of the neighbourhood association and the proceeds go to improvements in the district itself. A cash prize waits for anyone beating the course record.
