Speedman Triathlon Groningen is the club triathlon of GVAV Rapiditas Triathlon in and around Ruskenveen, on the western side of Groningen. The race combines recreational starts over the 1/8 and quarter-triathlon formats with relays, team competitions and youth and junior series, bringing several levels together on the same race day. The organiser highlights a traffic-free bike course and separate course maps for swimming, cycling, running and the transition area. With more than forty editions behind it, Speedman remains practical and recognisable: clear enough for participants planning their first short triathlon, yet with enough race rhythm for clubs and competitive athletes.
