Winter Step-One Loop 2026
The Winter Step One Loop is a road race in Borne, starting and finishing at the B.V.V. Borne sports complex on the Twickelerblokweg. The programme covers 5 kilometres, 10 kilometres and the half marathon, plus a 2-kilometre youth race that is free to enter and gives every participant a medal. The starts follow one another within a quarter of an hour: frame runners first, then the 10 kilometres and the half marathon together, next the 5 and finally the 2 kilometres. Prizes go to all classes and age categories, and anyone lowering a course record earns a cash bonus for it. The club canteen serves as the base, with late entry, changing rooms and showers. The race has been organised for close to forty years.
