Wings for Life World Run Gent is an App Run Event at the Watersportbaan, starting with the global field on Sunday 10 May 2026. It is not a classic race with a finish line or fixed distance: runners and wheelchair participants continue until the Virtual Catcher Car catches them. The local set-up uses a flat, paved 5 km loop around the water, starting on the waterfront near the Campinglaan intersection. It is a social but genuinely competitive way to join the Wings for Life format in Ghent.
