The HiPRO Utrecht Marathon is Utrecht's major running event, with Utrecht Science Park as its home base. The programme ranges from the Utrecht Science Park Marathon and HiPRO Half Marathon to the 10 km, Business Runs, student categories and a Mini Marathon for children. The longer distances connect the green surroundings of Utrecht with the historic city centre; along the way you see different sides of the Domstad, including the distinctive passage under the Dom tower. Start and finish are at the Science Park, where the event atmosphere, aid stations, music and large crowds come together. This makes the Utrecht Marathon both a serious city marathon and an accessible running day for teams, students, children and recreational runners.
