Utrecht Science Park Night Run

About the race

The Utrecht Science Park Night Run is an evening race on the campus, starting and finishing at the Olympos sports centre on the Uppsalalaan. The 5, 10 and 15 kilometres are all run on the same five-kilometre course, so runners on the longer distances pass the entertainment several times. Children have their own Night Runs over 800 metres and 1.5 kilometres. The course is closed to traffic and lit, timing is provided and finishers receive a medal. The most striking section is the passage through the illuminated Botanical Gardens, which gives the route a backdrop you will not find at any other evening race. Spectators are welcome along the course and an afterparty follows.
