TrechoTEAMrun

About the race

The TrechoTEAMrun is a relay race on Het Lint in the Máximapark in Vleuten, organised by the running club Trecho. A team consists of three runners who together complete six laps of 3.5 kilometres, so everyone runs two. Start, finish and the changeovers are next to the DESTO pavilion on sportpark De Vryheit, which means the whole team meets up again at every handover. Entry is open to mixed, women's and men's teams, with a minimum age of twelve, and the field is capped at one hundred teams. Part of every team entry goes to the Friends of the Máximapark foundation — the club trains there every Saturday, which explains the bond with the park.
