Night Trail Run Utrecht 2026
The Night Trail Run sets off in the dark at the Nieuwegein ski slope and heads from there into the terrain around the Nedereindseplas. On the two trails of 7.5 and 15 kilometres a headlamp is mandatory: the course is largely unpaved and unlit, with shell and gravel paths, grassland, muddy sections and the height difference of the slope itself. Anyone finding that too much runs the 5 kilometre fun run instead, a flat paved figure of eight around the lake for which a lamp is advised but not required. The starts follow closely on one another in the early evening, and afterwards the company lingers a while. The event is organised by BodyRun and IJ-Run.
