Urban Trail Rotterdam

About the race

The Urban Trail Rotterdam starts and finishes at the ss Rotterdam, the former Holland America Line flagship now moored on the Maas. From there the route heads into the city, and the striking thing is that it does not only go through streets but through buildings: theatres, stadiums — De Kuip among them — and alleyways you cannot normally just walk into. Which locations open up is announced step by step, which keeps the anticipation going. There is a short route of about six kilometres and a long one of around eleven. The race belongs to the Urban Trail Series, which runs the same format in several Dutch cities.
