Maastunnelloop

About the race

The Maastunnelloop is a Rotterdam running event with the Parkkade as its event site, where the start and finish are too. The 10 kilometres runs through the heart of the city, past or straight through places that are unmistakably Rotterdam: the Maas tunnel, the Erasmus bridge, Hotel New York, the ss Rotterdam and the Maassilo. The same route is also available as a walking tour and as a powerwalk, and companies run their own ten kilometres half an hour later. The day opens with a one-kilometre family run through Het Park by the Euromast. Food trucks and activities fill the site, and the proceeds fund an adapted exercise room for children at a rehabilitation centre. The race combines a recognisable city course with a genuinely accessible set-up.
