NN Marathon Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands' major city marathons, and it feels inseparable from the city: the marathon starts at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge, runs through Rotterdam and finishes on the Coolsingel. The 45th edition on Sunday 12 April 2026 combined the classic 42.195 km with the 10 KM Rotterdam and the Dutch Marathon Championships, while the weekend also included kids runs, a city run, walking distances and business team events. The course is fast and flat, but the real pull is just as much Rotterdam itself, the long lines of spectators and the famous final metres on the Coolsingel.
