UNICEF-loop Breukelen

About the race

The UNICEF-loop Breukelen is a charity evening starting and finishing on the Kerkbrink, in the middle of the village. At quarter past seven the children run first; half an hour later everyone else sets off together — the 5 and the 10 kilometres as a timed run and the 5 kilometres as a walk, over the same route and at the same moment. That makes the walker part of the same departure rather than an afterthought. Walkers also pay a lower entry fee than runners, and anyone signing up on the evening itself pays a single higher rate for both. All the proceeds go to UNICEF.
