The Hart van Holland Loop starts on Drie Stammenweg in Kockengen and heads out into the Utrecht peat meadow country. From the Wagendijk along the water the distances split: the 5.5 kilometres turns off towards Teckop, while the 10 kilometres first makes a turnaround on the Schutterskade. Both come together on the Hollandse Kade, a path that winds between the meadows. The evening opens with two youth races and ends, after the main run, with music, a bouncy castle and a drink. New this year is a team classification in which teams of three to five compete for the title of strongest team in the village. The proceeds go to the local swimming pool.
