Kamerikse Weteringloop is a recreational road race in the Groene Hart, organised by Stichting Kamerikse Weteringloop. Start and finish are at the Overstek event area in Kamerik. The programme combines youth distances of 700 metres, 1000 metres and 1700 metres with 5 km, 10 km and a half marathon. The 5 km and 10 km routes run through Kamerik and Kanis and along the Kamerikse Wetering, tying the race closely to the polder landscape around the village. The half marathon adds extra sporting depth, while the atmosphere remains accessible and local. For participants it is a clear Groene Hart race: well organised, easy to understand and open to youth runners, recreational runners and those who want a longer challenge.
