Triathlon van Nieuwkoop is a middle-distance triathlon in the Groene Hart region, starting at Strand Zomer on Meijepad. The race keeps to the classic middle-distance format: a 1.9 km open-water swim, 90 km of cycling over two laps and a 21.1 km run over four laps. That makes it a clear but demanding race where pacing, transitions and course knowledge can make a real difference. Participants can race individually or split the distance as a duo or trio, giving the event a distinct team feel as well. With the youth triathlon, swim-run and the Gees Veenboer Bokaal alongside the main race, Nieuwkoop has a recognizable multisport tradition.
