The Braassemloop is a road race organised by Loopvereniging Plantaris in Roelofarendsveen and forms part of the Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit. Start and finish are at Tech Campus De School on Schoolbaan, not at the EMM21 parking location. The main distances are 5, 10 and 15 km, with additional GeZZinsloop distances for children and families. The course heads out from the village towards the area around the Braassemermeer, giving the race a clear local feel: village-based, flat and suitable for both recreational runners and circuit competitors. The Braassemloop is not a large city event, but a well-run regional race where competition, family participation and club organisation come together.
