De Knikker Zegerplasloop

About the race

The Knikker Zegerplasloop is a winter series of three runs by the Alphen athletics club AAV'36, held in November, January and February. All runs start at AAV'36's athletics track on the Sportlaan. The almost car-free course goes through the Zegersloot area and around the Zegerplas; you choose from 5, 10, 15 or 20 km. For young people there are 400 and 1,000 metres on the track, and walkers can do 5 or 10 km. There's official chip timing. Changing rooms, showers and the clubhouse are open. There's no longer a drinks station along the Aarkanaal; water is available at the finish.
