TRI Amsterdam is the TRI HARD Series city triathlon around Park Somerlust, Bella Vista Park and the Amstel. Participants choose between the Standard Distance of 1.5 kilometres swimming, 40 kilometres cycling and 10 kilometres running and the Middle Distance of 1.9 kilometres swimming, 90 kilometres cycling and 21 kilometres running, either individually or as a relay. The swim course starts in the Amstel near the Berlage Bridge with a rolling start; the bike course then heads through Ouderkerk, the Ouderkerkerplas, Abcoude and along the Amstel into Amstelland. The race has a distinctly Amsterdam mix of urban logistics, historical touches such as Loenersloot Castle and a finish setting at Bella Vista Park. For the Standard Distance, the 2026 race also counts towards the Dutch Standard Distance Age Group Championships.
