The Amsterdam UMC Run is a running day for and by the hospital, with start and finish at Amsterdam UMC - location AMC on Meibergdreef. On Sunday 31 May 2026, participants run through the green surroundings of Amsterdam Zuidoost and straight through the AMC itself. The programme consists of the 1.2-kilometre Family Run, 5 kilometres, 10 kilometres and the Hattrick for those who run all three distances as separate starts. Participants receive a traffic-free course, timing, medal, aid and access to an event area with music, food trucks and entertainment. Part of the entry fee for the 5 km, 10 km and Hattrick goes to research and better patient care at Amsterdam UMC, making this run sporty, accessible and strongly engaged at the same time.
