The Geijsel Hypotheken Rondehoeploop is a local road race from Sporthal De Bindelwijk in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. The longest distance follows the familiar loop through the open De Ronde Hoep polder, past water, dykes and wide views just south of Amsterdam. The programme also includes the 5 km Polderloop and the 2 km youth run, and walkers can take on the same long loop. Its charm lies in its simplicity: start in the village, head into the polder, feel the wind and open space, then return to Ouderkerk with a genuinely local event around you.
