Tata Steel Marquetteloop

About the race

The Marquetteloop is an annual tradition in Heemskerk, organised by athletics club DEM from Beverwijk. All distances start on the Jonkheer Geverslaan and finish on the Marquettelaan, by Marquette Castle. Adults choose from 7 km, 14 km or a half marathon over a course re-measured by the athletics federation; on the 7 km lap there are two water stations. The 14 and 21.1 km start together at 11:45 am, the 7 km slightly later. For children there are Kids of Steel Runs over 1300 and 3300 metres. Bib numbers are collected at Sportcentrum Heemskerk, where you can also register on the day itself.
