The VissenRun is the running day of De Vissenloop & Run in IJmuiden. On Saturday 30 May 2026, the old Pierloop returns in anniversary form, starting at Sporthal IJmuiden-Oost and finishing on Plein 1945. The programme consists of a 2.7 km youth run at 15:00 and the 8.2 and 15 km at 16:00. The run is linked to KWF Kankerbestrijding: alongside their race entry, participants can create a campaign page to raise additional funds. With its mix of IJmuiden history, a clear running programme and the charity cause, this performance run feels more like a local sports weekend than a standalone road race.
