Singelloop Utrecht

About the race

The Singelloop Utrecht is the oldest street race in the Netherlands and draws thousands of runners into the centre. The course follows the Utrecht canals and passes through the Wilhelminapark: flat, paved and close to the old town, which makes it a fast route. There are three officially measured distances — 5 kilometres, 10 kilometres and the half marathon — alongside kids runs and business runs. Because the canals form a closed ring, spectators stand right on the course and you come back past the same places. The event is organised by Stichting UtrechTrent.
