Sightseeing Run Veendam is a recreational city run with start and finish on Museumplein. Under the motto Broez'n deur andermans Hoez'n, participants run through the centre of Veendam, past local sights and, in places, through buildings and shops. The programme combines a kids' run with 5 km and 10 km, and is organised by Kiwanis Veendam, so atmosphere, discovery and a charitable cause matter just as much as finish times.
