Run for Rabies Utrecht

About the race

Run for Rabies Utrecht is the sponsored run organised by Stichting Dierenartsen Zonder Grenzen Nederland around the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht. Participants choose 3, 5 or 10 km, with room to walk the shortest distance and run the longer ones. The route passes through Utrecht and Bunnik, starting and finishing on Yalelaan. The event is firmly built around fundraising for rabies control in Malawi: participants can collect sponsorship, bring their dog and stay afterwards for drinks, the awards and a raffle. That makes Run for Rabies feel more like a shared campaign than a conventional race.
