The Run Bike Run Bathmen starts and finishes on the Brink, the village square of Bathmen near Deventer. The format has three parts and no swimming: first five kilometres of running through the centre and along the banks of the Schipbeek, then twenty-five kilometres of cycling in two laps on a fully closed road course through the surrounding countryside, and finally another two and a half kilometres on foot. You can enter individually or as a duo, with one person running and the other cycling. The race belongs to a national series and is held under the auspices of the triathlon federation, with officials on the course.
