The Brink tot Brinkloop links Deventer and Bathmen: the 10 kilometres starts on the Brink in Deventer and finishes on the Brink in Bathmen. The course is officially measured, which makes the race suitable for anyone chasing a reliable time. Because the start and finish lie kilometres apart, the organisers arrange for clothing to be transported to the finish and buses back to Deventer afterwards. The minimum age on the 10 kilometres is sixteen; younger participants run the kids run, which starts and finishes on the Brink in Bathmen. Companies can enter teams of three to five runners over the 10 kilometres, with the fastest three times deciding the placings. Part of the proceeds goes to charity.
