The Rotte Dam Loop is a social run and walk along the Rotte between Rotterdam and Bergschenhoek. The 2026 anniversary edition deliberately does not revolve around timing, but around moving together: the 10.61 km and 21.55 km start on the Binnenrotte and follow the river to Outdoor Valley, while the 5 km and kidsrun start and finish in the Hoge Bergse Bos. Along the way, city streets, lakes, semi-paved paths and short hills alternate, with start waves instead of a mass start. Afterwards, Outdoor Valley becomes the shared finish area with a medal, finish drink and Rotte Dam Fest. That makes the Rotte Dam Loop feel like more than a standalone road race: it is an accessible run and walk with a clear social heart.
