Randerode Zomercross

About the race

Randerode Zomercross is the summer edition of AV Veluwe’s Randerode cross-country race in Apeldoorn. On Sunday 14 June 2026, the race starts and finishes at Zuster Meyboomlaan, under the viaduct on the edge of the Veluwe. The course is built around 3.3 km laps: runners choose 1, 2 or 3 laps for 3.3, 6.6 or 9.9 km. Because this event normally belongs to the autumn calendar, the summer version gives the familiar cross-country feel a different character: less leaf litter and mud, possibly drier sand, but still a route where surface, turns and rhythm matter. AV Veluwe marks tricky tree roots, provides first aid and keeps the setup deliberately compact. It is a friendly club cross for runners who prefer varied off-road running to a straight stretch of asphalt.
