The Wim van Beek Crossloop is a cross-country race held on Boxing Day in Klarenbeek, starting and finishing at Sportpark De Pauw on the Bosweg. The race has been going since the nineteen-eighties and takes participants through the wooded surroundings of the village. The programme covers 5, 8 and 10 kilometres, preceded by a 1-kilometre kids run. Shortly before the longer distances set off there is a warm-up for everyone together. A distinctive feature is the team run over the 5 and the 10 kilometres, where teams of three to five runners are classified as a squad on the basis of their fastest three times. The same race therefore produces both an individual result and a team classification.
