The Overslagse Pannenkoekenloop is the running event of the Overslagse Feesten in the border village of Overslag. The course sets off in the early evening on the Forelstraat, leads through the village and passes straight through the festival marquee, where a DJ provides the soundtrack. Three distances are on the programme, of 4.5, 9 and 13.5 kilometres, supplemented by a kids' run for the youngest participants. Everyone who reaches the finish is rewarded with a pancake. Entries can be made online in advance, and registration at the marquee is still possible on the day itself. After the race the evening continues with the festival programme, so the run and the village celebration flow into one another.
