About the race

The Gent Trail is an urban trail run through the Gentbrugse Meersen, a green patch of nature on the edge of Ghent, organised by Sportaround vzw. Start and finish are at Corrid'or under the Gentbrugge viaduct, next to sports hall Driebeek, where you also collect your bib number and can shower. At the previous edition there were three distances, 6, 13 and 27 km, plus youth trails of 600 m and 1 km, with childcare in the sports hall. The distances for the tenth, anniversary edition are yet to be announced. Registration opens from 1 November 2026. Proceeds go towards Sportaround's work.
