Oosterbaan Strand- & Duinloop

About the race

AV Castricum organises three Strand- en Duinlopen (Beach and Dune Runs) every winter; the first of the 2026-2027 season is on 25 October. Start and finish are at the club's athletics track on the Zeeweg in Castricum. The routes run through the Noord-Hollands Duinreservaat dune reserve; only the 15 km also covers a stretch of beach. You can also choose from 10.1 km, 4 km and 2.2 km, and the youngest children run 1 km. You cannot park at the track itself; use the car park at visitor centre De Hoep, about 400 metres further on. Late registration is possible online from Saturday afternoon, at a higher fee.
