Graef Castricum Trail

About the race

The Graef Castricum Trail is a trail running and walking event in the North Holland dune reserve, starting and finishing at Sportpark De Duinloper in Castricum. Distances range from an accessible 7 kilometres — the Snuffeltrail, meant as a first introduction — through 11, 23 and 35 kilometres to a 60-kilometre ultra, a substantial part of which is run on GPS. Walkers can take on the 11 and the 23 kilometres, runners with dogs have their own Cani Trail over 7 and 11 kilometres, and there is a kids' trail for children. The longer routes head towards Egmond aan Zee, cut across the beach to the water infiltration area and finish with a stiff climb. The event is self-supported and cup-free, so bring your own food and cup.
