The Nescioloop starts and finishes at the AV23 athletics track on the Radioweg in Amsterdam-Oost. The morning opens at half past nine with the youth: 800 metres for the youngest and 2300 metres for the juniors. At half past ten the 15 kilometres sets off, which can be run competitively or on time only, and twenty minutes later the 8 kilometres. The course leaves the sports park towards Diemen and the Diemerpark and takes in the Nesciobrug, the cycle bridge over the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal that gives the race its name. A prize ceremony follows each segment. The proceeds go to the Jeugdfonds.
