LRRC Henk Hakker Memorial Run

About the race

The Henk Hakker Memorial Run is one of the Leiden Road Runners Club's trimlopen and has a clear place in the spring: the thirty kilometres counts as the last serious test before the Leiden Marathon. Start and finish are at Sportcomplex De Vliet on the Voorschoterweg. Besides that thirty there are running distances of 5, 10 and 15 kilometres and walking events over 10 and 15. All but the shortest route head towards the Vlietlanden, over paved paths along the water. The route for every distance is published in advance with a GPS file. The race is named after Henk Hakker, the club's face of long-distance running, and deliberately keeps the character of a club event.
