Lopster Torenloop

About the race

The Lopster Torenloop is an evening run in Loppersum, with the Lopster Toren and Marktplein as its recognisable centre. The programme begins with youth runs of about 400, 600 and 1,200 metres, followed by the Ranja Race for teams and the recreational and race events over 5 and 10 km. The main route leaves the village over shell paths towards the Lopster Bos, crosses the wierde and returns to the finish on Marktplein. With music along the course, a warm-up and the team relay, the Torenloop feels like a village event, while still offering clear options for runners who simply want 5 km or want to race two 5 km laps.
