Dijkloop Delfzijl

About the race

Dijkloop Delfzijl is a plain-spoken running event with an unusually broad offer: 5, 10, 15, 21.1, 30 and 42.2 kilometres, so recreational runners and long-distance specialists alike find something to suit. The 10 kilometres, the half marathon and the marathon are official race distances. Start and finish are at de Vennen, by the new Diekloper bridge; participants park at the Handelskade Oost. What gives the day its colour is the combination of seriously long distances, spectators at the start and finish and a large group of volunteers along the route. Results, photos and an aftermovie appear afterwards. The result is a well-organised day that is above all about endurance.
