Langs de Gouweloop starts and finishes on the Gouweplein by the Waddinxveen shopping centre, in the middle of the village. The programme is kept small: a Kidsrun of 1.3 kilometres and performance runs over 5 and 10 kilometres. The course follows the Gouwe, the water the race is named after, and is flat and paved — here the wind decides more than the profile does. Because everything sets off from one square and returns to it, the spectators stand where the finish is. The event is organised by Sportclub Antilope.
