Halve Marathon Gouda

About the race

The Halve Marathon Gouda starts and finishes on the Markt, in the middle of the historic centre. Alongside the half marathon there is a 10 kilometre race, and for children two kids runs of 400 and 1500 metres that set off around midday; one accompanying adult per child may run along. The course has been put together afresh for this edition: the best stretches from earlier years have been combined into a single route through Gouda and the countryside around it. Drink stations along the way carry water and fruit but no sports drink, so anyone who uses it needs to bring their own. Every finisher receives a medal, kids runs included. Stichting Halve Marathon Gouda runs the event with a large group of volunteers.
