There are two distances, 5 and 10 kilometres, each with its own classification. The name points at the bunker in the village: Brûly-de-Pesche was cleared in 1940 to build a forward German headquarters there, and the site is now a memorial with a museum. The race counts towards the Challenge Mémorial Claude Delobbe, the standings series of joggings around Couvin, so part of the field turns up here with points in mind. Beyond that the turnout stays modest and largely regional.
