Trail ES Petigny-Frasnes

About the race

A winter trail starting from the football ground of ES Petigny-Frasnes in Petigny, near Couvin, in the woods of the Pays de Chimay. The race counts towards the Challenge trail de la forêt du pays de Chimay. There are five distances, with staggered starts: 33 km with about 1000 metres of elevation gain at 9 am, 25 km at 9.15 am, 16 km at 9.30 am, 11 km at 10 am and 5 km at 10.15 am. There is plenty of climbing, and in February the forest paths can get quite muddy.
