Trail de Chimay starts and finishes at Auberge du Poteaupré in Bourlers, close to Scourmont Abbey. The courses head into the quiet woods and rolling countryside around Chimay, combining runnable trails, technical sections and stream crossings on the longer distances. The 2026 programme offers 11, 24, 34 and 50 km, each with enough climbing to keep the course demanding without losing the natural character of the area. A cold Chimay at the finish is almost part of the experience.
