Kiekendief Duo-Trio-Team Marathon

About the race

The Kiekendief Duo-Trio-Team Marathon is a run-and-bike relay around Swifterbant and Dronten, with the feel of a long day in the polder rather than a classic solo marathon. Teams of two to four participants cover just over 42 km together: one team member runs at a time, while the others cycle along, recover and can swap freely. Start and finish are at Boerderij Smit on Rivierduinweg in Swifterbant, after which the route passes fields, dykes, farmyards, woodland and the built-up area of Dronten. Regional snacks, drinks and the Odensehuis Dronten charity are part of the experience along the way. The format is less about a finishing time and more about smart teamwork, enjoying the route and finishing together.
