Devil's Cross Duathlon Netl is an off-road run-bike-run in and around Netl Park in the Noordoostpolder. The 3.5-kilometre running course crosses the Netl park landscape, with dunes and the largest bamboo forest in the Benelux; the 12.5-kilometre mountain bike section runs through the Voorsterbos, along winding forest paths and adventurous trails below sea level. In the sprint you cover that loop once: 3.5 running, 12.5 cycling and another 3.5 running. The long distance doubles the first two parts to 7 kilometres of running and 25 kilometres of cycling, with another 3.5 kilometres of running to close. Start and finish are at the beach pavilion, which is also open to spectators.
