Young runners, recreational runners, competitive athletes and company teams follow paved routes through and around the city, with the Overtoom by the Fulcotheater as the recognisable finish area. The usual programme includes youth races, 5 km, 10 km and a half marathon; in 2026 the half marathon was shortened to 10 km because of heat.
