The Heuvelland Entre-Deux-Monts Wine Trail sets off from the wine estate on the Rodebergstraat in Westouter and runs through the vineyards, woods and meadows between the Rodeberg and the Zwarteberg. There are three distances with rising climb: 10 kilometres with 230 metres, 15 with 330 and 20 with 400. Anyone racing the clock can join the competitive start at five, but only on the 15 and the 20 — the 10 exists solely in the recreational wave, which then stays open for three quarters of an hour so you choose when to go. At the finish everyone receives a tasting glass as a keepsake, three wines and a snack; anyone avoiding alcohol gets local apple juice.
