The Herfstjogging of Boortmeerbeek sets off from the sports hall on the Sportveldweg and offers three distances: 3.5, 6.7 and 10 kilometres. All three leave at the same moment, which makes the field crowded early on and gives the shortest distance a flying start. The course is fast: mainly asphalt, with a few smaller unpaved roads in between that loosen it up compared to a pure street race. There is electronic timing, first aid on site and a keepsake on arrival. Prizes go to the strongest men and women per distance, and the youngest and the oldest participant are honoured as well. The event is organised by Joggingclub Icarus.
