Urban Trail Mechelen

About the race

The BRITA Urban Trail Mechelen is an evening race through the city centre in a Christmas atmosphere, starting and finishing at the Sint-Romboutscollege on the Veemarkt. You choose between 7 and 12 km past Mechelen landmarks and through buildings normally closed to runners, with stairs and narrow streets. You set off in five waves between 7:10 and 8:30 pm. There's no timing: it's an experience, not a race. There are one or two refreshment stops along the way, depending on the distance. Participants support a project by Plan International Belgium in Senegal. Organised by Golazo, as part of the BRITA Urban Trails Series.
